03 December 2011The objective of this document is to compare the Transient Stability results from PowerApps software with those of published results.
Most of the OEMs do not want to create fictitious bus and fictitious lines as needed for simulation of single pole open/close event in transient stability. PowerApps validation is done with respect to standard text book results given on “Power System Stability And Controlâ€, by Prabha Kundur. It is seen that the results from PowerApps simulation matches with the text book example for the case of single pole open/close condition.
