ELTRIX enables overall sustenance of an energy eco system through optimal decisions within regulatory, environmental and reliability constraints. ELTRIX delivers to the need for intelligent and open decision support systems to guide the system and its stake holders across various decision scenarios so that the decision is optimal; the models are open and transformable to new scenarios, and all decisions can be well connected resulting in meeting the end goals and objectives of utility or consumer.
Energy optimization plays a key role within the energy eco system by acting as a catalyst for energy sustenance, which in turn is the sustenance of an energy organization, energy consumer and the environment within which they operate. ELTRIX is different from a traditional Energy Management System in many ways. Here gives some reasons why energy optimization require a Decision Support System like ELTRIX,
- Most of the energy management systems does not have decision models and do not have the capabilities to support decision making, they present as is conditions and leave out the intricacies of decision making fully to its users. A few energy management systems have decision models which is buried down into software in a hidden layer and only expose certain decision parameters to be set by the user, which is neither adaptable to changing scenarios nor can be customized for specific needs.
- The new era of growth, realization of environmental impacts along the energy value chain, and the transformation of power and energy as a basic need, all this started pushing the complexity and randomness of a decision scenario for power & energy organization as well as consumers to many folds. - Decision Portal is a web portal providing meaningful insights to the operators and decision makers on the overall performance of the decision models by tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on the overall performance of the decision models by tracking KPIs using rich set of analytics provided through mimics, charts, reports and dash boards.
